Receipt for a refundable security deposit. Free, no sign-up, and everything stays in your browser.
A security deposit receipt is the landlord’s written acknowledgement that a refundable deposit was received. It protects the tenant when the deposit has to be returned, and the landlord when someone later disputes the amount.
It is made in your browser and nothing you type is stored on our server. Payment references are left blank for you to write by hand.
Who signs: Landlord (signs) and Tenant (keeps the receipt).
Only for what the agreement allows, such as unpaid rent, unpaid bills or damage beyond normal wear and tear. Ask for the deductions in writing with bills. If there is a dispute, a written record like this receipt and the rent agreement is what you will rely on.
Prefer bank transfer or UPI. Large cash payments are restricted by law and leave no bank record.
